New York Jets Team Talk
The season isn't officially over and I think the Jets playoff run is giving Rex some sort of extra bravado to keep his mug in the limelight. I'd obviously prefer a low profile from my coach until the pre-season. I'll preface this by saying that ...

Pro Bowl running back Thomas Jones, who hasn't participated in any of the Jets' voluntary workouts because he's unhappy with his contract, will end his boycott next week and report to practice Wednesday, according to his agent. The Jets' other ...

Mark Sanchez arrived at Jets headquarters Tuesday to find pictures of his recent photo spread in GQ splashed across computer screens and hung throughout the locker room. Teammates described the photos as steamy, racy and perfect for a pretty boy ...

Jets coach Rex Ryan had nothing but praise for holdout running back Leon Washington Thursday, but he wasn't as effusive about Washington's agent, Alvin Keels. Ryan, speaking publicly for the first time about Washington's decision to boycott ...

Cornerback Pacman Jones still wants to play in the NFL. Whether or not somebody wants him remains to be seen. The Jets have expressed interest, according to someone close to Jones, but are waiting things out. Jones' agent Worrick Robinson said he ...

2008 Draft Central
Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 1, Pick 1
Positives
Consistently one of the top backs, year-in and year-out. He's in his 8th season and just turned 29, so he's still in his prime.
Negatives
Not much.
Draft Strategy
Safest choice available which is what you want at 1.01. (Contributed by: jdhowlett)

Round 1, Pick 1
Positives
He's one of the best runningbacks ever, and that tinted visor looks fabulous with the powder blue uniform.
Negatives
No runningback has been as good, as healthy, for as long as LaDainian Tomlinson. Not Faulk, not Dickerson -- nobody. If you take the liberties found in modern mathematics, and treat future seasons as available but simply unobserved outcomes, every consecutive outstanding season becomes increasingly improbable. By this reasoning, a 7th consecutive outstanding season is highly unlikely.
Draft Strategy
If the only argument against the best runningback in the league requires the invocation of Marshall Faulk, Eric Dickerson, and the type of head-spinning math found in theoretical physics, you had better take him at 1.01. (Contributed by: CleffedUp)

Round 1, Pick 1
Positives
He's LaDainian Tomlinson.
Negatives
I may not be good enough for him.
Draft Strategy
I just couldn't see going any other way with the first pick. He has a proven track record... maybe playing at this high a level for such a long time is unlikely but I'm not willing to bet against him. (Contributed by: Deckard)

Dez Bryant
Wow just wow......
Draft #6 in PPR league
Best keeper strategy
Amish, those are the types of ideas I was looking for. One thing I like about ...

Value Based Drafting, any good offseason articles?
Albert Haynesworth
RE: Albert Haynesworth...
Don't be a square and pass up L.J at #3
