Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the PK position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
At 39 years old, Elam remains one of the best Kickers in the league. Atlanta's offense gives him plenty of chances and he made the most of them in 2008. He'll put the numbers up again in 2009.
No current injury information exists for Jason Elam

Draft Analysis
Round 7, Pick 8
Positives Great Kicker
Gets alot of work --- last year had 27 field goals and 39 XP Negatives In 12th season of his career Draft Strategy Elam can win you games in fantasy football. Look for more field goals because of offensive stall in Red Zone. (Contributed by: Tim_Davoll)
Round 11, Pick 8
Positives One of the most consistent kickers in the NFL, a position notorious for not being consistent. He has been in the top 9 every year for the last 7 years. He also hits the long ones, and we do give bonuses for that in this system. Negatives The Broncos offense may not produce at the high level we have become accustom to, and if so, Elam is just another kicker, offset only by the altitude assisted occasional long one. Draft Strategy I wanted a better than average kicker to compliment Shockey and Baltimore, so was happy to see a top 5 guy, and a potential league leader, available. And if he is in decline, well, it is not like I am passing up great opportunities to take him, the cupboard is quite bare right now in this league! (Contributed by: Pat_Smith)
Round 12, Pick 4
Positives Accurante, Plays on a high scoring team, makes long field goals Negatives Older, Injury problems? Draft Strategy This league puts a premium on long field goals. Hopefully, Jason Elam can make some long FG's in Denver's Mile High Air. (Contributed by: Brad_Wyatt)
