Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the PK position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The Colts will remain one of the best offenses in the league. Vinateri would benefit from some red-zone struggles, but high scoring teams earn a lot of extra points. Kicking in a dome has it's advantages. Off-season hip surgery is a concern, but he is not expected to miss any time.
The Colts intend to keep Peyton Manning. "Our clear intention is to have Peyton finish his career here,'' Colts president Bill Polian said as the team prepared for a Wednesday night practice at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. "There ...

Round 13, Pick 5
Positives Decent kicker. Negatives
Draft Strategy He's a kicker...you usually need one...no one else impressed me at this spot so I took the best kicker left on my board. (Contributed by: Phyrre56)
Round 12, Pick 12
Positives Adam Vinatieri is entering his ninth season in the NFL with nearly an 81% conversion rate on Field Goal kicks including 67% from 40 yards and greater. He is no Mike Vanderjadt, but Vinatieri has only averaged 11 points less per season than Vandy (125 vs. 114) over their careers. Adam is coming off a down season in 2003 where he connected on a mere 74% of his attempts but this guy has ice water in his veins when it counts. I fully expect him to return to form in 2004. Negatives Vinatieri had a few rough periods last season after a stellar 2002. But when the game was on the line in the playoffs against the Titans (in the snow) and the Panthers (in the Superbowl), he was near flawless with game winning kicks in both. Draft Strategy With only five of the top Kickers already taken (including a couple in the seventh and eighth rounds!) and the RB/WR positions really picked over, I decided to go in an atypical draft direction for me and pick up a couple highly rated athletes from PK ranks. Although Vinatieri's numbers were down a bit from his 2002 production, he is still the best clutch Kicker in the game. (Contributed by: DTchorz)
