Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Smith will continue to build on an impressive 2008 campaign. He is solid as the starter in Detroit, and I look for him to impress in the air as well as on the ground. Should be on the field for close to 100% of the Lions offensive plays, Smith will have a very good fantasy year.

Positives Primary rb with no real competition for carries. 3-down back. Was a serviceable rb3 last year and I think he'll improve and be a good rb2 this year. Negatives Plays for a team that will be behind in a lot of contests and forced to pass. Draft Strategy I was looking for P Thomas of K Smith at this spot since the dropoff at rb to my next pick would be unacceptable. There are plenty of wr2 options that will be available at 4.06.
