Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Peyton Manning is the most consistent fantasy player of the last decade. He is one of the safest players to draft, and will continue to add to his already impressive resume in 09. Manning has displayed frustration over the personnel changes on the Colts coaching staff, but don't expect it to effect his performance come game time. The Colts o-line is not as dominant as it once was. After experiencing key injuries in 08, the line looks healthy entering the 09 season. Behind a healed front, Manning should have the time to find one of his many weapons. The Colts remain one of the best offenses in the game. Indy's superiority atop the AFC South has been a long one. The competition in the conference has evolved, and Indy is no longer a "shoe in" to win the division. The days of Indy's players sitting come playoff time, due to a season of domination may be over. This bodes well for Fantasy GMs who traditionally had to worry about the Colts studs sitting when it mattered.
The Colts intend to keep Peyton Manning. "Our clear intention is to have Peyton finish his career here,'' Colts president Bill Polian said as the team prepared for a Wednesday night practice at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. "There ...

INDIANAPOLIS (AP)—Peyton Manning(notes) may not have all the answers about the Colts coaching staff.

Draft Analysis
Round 2, Pick 12
Positives This guy just keeps on getting better. Here's a few stats that jump out at me. In five season in the NFL, he's never missed a game. That's not a misprint, he's played in all 80 games since 1999. Over his short career, he's averaged 4230 yards and 28+ TDs per season! And at 28 years of age, Manning's best seasons may just be ahead of him. That's pretty scary. Negatives Manning is a pocket passer, not a scrambler. You will not get any significant production from him carrying the football. But who cares, he's the best pure passer since Dan Marino! Draft Strategy I'm really happy to have snagged Manning here at the bottom of round two. It's been 22 picks since I grabbed Priest Holmes with the first pick in the league. I do need to secure another Running Back before they are really all gone, but on a pure talent basis I could not pass on Peyton Manning. (Contributed by: DTchorz)
Round 2, Pick 12
Positives Arguably the top QB in the NFL. Playing in an offense that should be just potent as last season. Negatives At this stage of his career there aren't many negatives. From the fantasy perspective I suspect that everyone owuld love to see some TD runs but i'll take the TD throws. Draft Strategy I'm taking Manning over McNabb because I'm not sold that Owens is the final piece to the Eagle puzzle - and more specifically that McNabb is not the answer for that team. I had a hard time NOT taking McNabb but Manning is a top QB and this gives me 2 studs at the 2 most important spots on the team. (Contributed by: Mary Handsome)
Round 2, Pick 10
Positives What's to say about manning that hasn't already been said about montana. The guy is a stud. His numbers increase every year. He averages 19 TD's a year. And he's played every game, including a season with a broken jaw. He's gonna prove this year why he's worth all the money he got. Negatives He can't run like Daunte, and the contract he signed may worry some people that he wont perform. But football is in his blood. I can't think of to many downsides for manning. Draft Strategy I've gone over this with myself a lot. I was looking for pepper here, but he was taken off the board with the pick right before mine. I would normally go RB-RB, but i have a feeling that my 3.03 pick will still be able to field be a sreviceable running back. I think that manning will prove to be more points then Chad Johnson & Terrell Owens, who were also on the board at the time. (Contributed by: trilogy)
