Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Lynch improved his receiving totals last season but, his total rushing yards were lower than his 2008 totals. He is scheduled to miss the first 3 games of the 2009 season due to violations of the NFL's personal conduct policy. Jackson and Rhodes will receive the additional action early in the season. Recent news out of Buffalo indicates the Bills want to effectively manage his carries this season which should keep him from breaking down later in the season.
we just picked up your old WR coach and i was wondering what you guys thought of him.
i don't know too much about him and wasn't impressed about hearing him named to the position.
any input you have would be good.
thanks....
ESPN reported that one of the candidates that the Bills might be interested in interviewing is the coach from Montreal of the CFL. How crazy would it be if they hired a CFL coach!?! I think that'd be the kiss of death and the Bills would be gone ...
Lurking the different threads and stumbled upon this one. Saw we hadn 't posted since 7/31....come on guys a lot is happening in Buffalo this year!
Prediction: Maybin and Schobel meet at Brady and knock him out for the year in the first quarter....
Any new news on Marshawn Lynch? I heard on espn earlier that it was looking like gis suspension was going to be reduced to a 1 game......

Draft Analysis
Round 1, Pick 10
Positives Lynch is a workhorse running back. He missed 3 games last year with an ankle injury and still had 280/1115/6. Anyone who has watched him play can see how aggressive he is on the field. If he plays every game, he is a 300+ carry back which is what I want as a first pick in any fantasy football draft. With the Buffalo schedule being easier this year, I see Lynch surpassing last years numbers easily and possibly getting top 5 production. Negatives Buffalo may be using their own RBBC with Fred Jackson proving his worth last year. With the league being PPR, I would like to see him get more receiving opportunities since he has shown he can catch the ball when he is targeted with a decent 10+ yds/reception. His decision making off the field leaves a lot to be desired and I hope the hit and run incident is the last we will see of those this year(at least while I own him!) Draft Strategy My choices at 1.10 were clearly between MBIII and Lynch. What iced it for me was obviously the scoring emphasis on # of carries (0.2 per carry) which puts Lynch in the lead in my opinion due to past history of Dallas' usage of MBIII in RBBC which I don't see changing with the addition of Felix Jones. I would have been happy with either back (MBIII or Lynch) at the 1.10 spot as both have great potential to shine this season. (Contributed by: RatSlinger)
Round 1, Pick 10
Positives M-shawn is a workhorse. Lots of games on the east coast in the elements = lots of rushing attempts.
Buffalo has a pretty easy schedule. 2 games against Miami and two games with the Jets. The AFC East has inter-division matchups against the AFC and NFC West this year.
New offensive coordinator Turk Schonert wants to throw more short passes to Lynch this season. Lynch averaged 10 yds/catch last year.
Lynch could play with a chip on his shoulder because of all the negative press he got due to his hit-and-run.
Negatives He only made 18 receptions in 2007. He was injured for three games. He plays in Buffalo.
Lots of frequent flier miles due to the inter-division matchups. Draft Strategy Some would have gone with Manning or Moss. I feel fortunate to have Lynch fall to me. In a Shark League, where the RB is king, taking anything but a RB with my first pick is just too risky.

Round 2, Pick 2
Positives Hard-hitting runner who doesn't shy away from contact and will fight for the tough yards. Good Receiver out of the backfield and reports out of the Bills TC is that he'll definitely be more involved as a receiver out of the backfield this year. Negatives One of Lynch's biggest strengths could also be his undoing. His fighting for tough yards might also make him more susceptible to injury. The Bills offense has ranked among the worst in the league for several years running, and if they can't get better play from the QB position, defenses will continue to stack eight in the box to stop the running game. Draft Strategy Lynch is in my top 10 this year. I fully expected to grab a WR here but with Moss gone along with QBs Brady and Manning the value of RB was here for me at the 2nd pick. I'll be quite happy to have 2 non-RBBC type backs with this scoring system. (Contributed by: Zaphod)
