Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
there's this guy in the panthers huddle that has been making these things for a while but he is really getting good.
this is the latest one that he made for the panthers '09 offense.
for the '09 ...
everything i have seen and heard from this guy lets me know that there is a huge shift in the defenses mentality. last year the defense had a "bend but don't break" mentality but meeks is bringing a "find who has the ball a break ...

Draft Analysis
Round 5, Pick 5
Positives Very talented rookie back on a good running team. Most say he should move from the RBBC into a more featured role by mid-season. Negatives I'm not a big fan of taking rookie backs, they don't know the grind of the NFL so they are big injury risks. Draft Strategy Another fairly easy pick, a full round after the MMM ADP. JStew should be coming into his best part of the year when my top 2 backs start to wear down. I think he is a near perfect choice at RB3. (Contributed by: Baron_Fel)
Round 5, Pick 2
Positives The Panthers didn't use a high selection, and get rid of last year's starter, to let Stewart sit the bench. He will see the field as the Panthers like to use a smash mouth running game, which Stewart is perfectly suited for. How quickly he adjusts to the NFL will dictate how much playing time he gets. I'm betting here that he goes from 50-50 at the start to 75-25 within a few weeks. Negatives Rookie RBs usually have a hard time coming into the league and producing for the fantasy owner. Carolina has other options to share the time with Stewart. Draft Strategy This selections may throw the ADP off a little bit, but selecting near the corner of a draft you sometimes have to go down on your list for a position you want. Rookie RB is a place I usually don't like to go, but I'm set at WR and I'm not enamored with the top available QB or TEs. Perhaps more importantly, like more shark leagues, the other owners in this league are extremely RB crazy, in a league where there is no trading, I need to make sure that I am able to get a few while they are still available.
This may be a little early for Stewart, but I guarantee that he won't be available to me when I select again. I'm not selecting Stewart to be "that guy" that gets the rookie that excels, I'm taking him here for what I hope he produces this season. I will need to get a couple more RBs, which I don't mind doing in rounds 5, 6, and 7, I am betting that the other RBs I am considering here will be available next time around due to them being less "glamourous" than Stewart.
To finally summarize, I see Stewart as a RB2, not sure if that will be at the beginning of the season, but at some point he should be. (Contributed by: doug_coutts)
Round 6, Pick 1
Positives Extremely gifted rookie, blessed with ideal size and speed. Plays in an offense committed to the run. Runs behind a pretty decent line. Negatives Deangelo Williams, mostly. He's been lighting it up and keeping Stewart in check so far. Carolina might be committed to the run, but they haven't been very good at it lately. Draft Strategy Another upside pick that I have to hope pans out. Stewart's got a world of talent, and hopefully he usurps Williams soon enough. If he can grind out a Kevin Jones-like second half to his rookie year, I'd be golden. (Contributed by: FantasyHussy)
