Positives The 8th over-all defensive unit last year, the Miami Dolphins defense allowed 305.9 yards per game. They have finished in the top 10 in total defense every season this decade. The 3-4 defense, once they get the hang of it, will have a positive impact. Negatives They gave up 22.1 ppg last season and the 305 yards a game. The 'Fins will be switching to primarily a 3-4 scheme this season, a new defense to learn. Tim Bowens and Bryan Robinson are gone, but Kevin Carter, Vonnie Holliday and Keith Traylor have been added. They also play the toughest schedule in the nfl this year. Draft Strategy With the last pick of this draft, I wanted one more Defensive unit.
