Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

Owens provides an upgrade at the WR position, and will allow Lee Evans more room to operate in the offense. He was signed to one year deal and performs better when something is on the line. He did have six games last season with single digit fantasy scoring and drops more passes than he used to. With possible protection issues for Trent Edwards, Owens should be looked as more as WR #2 with the potential to be #1 WR.

Receiving: 75 Receptions, 1100 Yards, 10 TD.

Buffalo Bills Team Talk
we just picked up your old WR coach and i was wondering what you guys thought of him. i don't know too much about him and wasn't impressed about hearing him named to the position. any input you have would be good. thanks....

ESPN reported that one of the candidates that the Bills might be interested in interviewing is the coach from Montreal of the CFL. How crazy would it be if they hired a CFL coach!?! I think that'd be the kiss of death and the Bills would be gone ...

goood byyyyeeeeee...

Lurking the different threads and stumbled upon this one. Saw we hadn 't posted since 7/31....come on guys a lot is happening in Buffalo this year! Prediction: Maybin and Schobel meet at Brady and knock him out for the year in the first quarter....

Any new news on Marshawn Lynch? I heard on espn earlier that it was looking like gis suspension was going to be reduced to a 1 game......

Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 3, Pick 6
Positives
Owens is the most consistently dominant WR this side of Randy Moss. Averaging 85/1250/13 for the past 5 seasons, Owens brings big play ability to the table. He's huge for a WR, and uses that size to dominate the secondary after he catches the ball. He plays for one of the best teams in football and is their number one red zone option. Owens has been a top 5 WR for 4 of the past 5 seasons, finishing in the top 20 overall players in all 4 of those seasons.
Negatives
Owens is a career malcontent, and this year is no different. His offseason antics have transformed him from the hero of Philadelphia into...well, into what TO normally is to the team that has him. That's not a big deal, though -- the problem in Philadelphia is that team officials are hoping that TO and McNabb have a "working business relationship" -- that's not what you want to hear about your stud WR and his QB. Another problem here is that the rest of the receivers on the team are miserable, and only Brian Westbrook really has any ability to distract opposing defenses. Last up is a somewhat spotty injury history, as TO is a guy who tends to miss a game or two every season.
Draft Strategy
I'm not a huge fan of TO, but you can't argue with the numbers. Getting him this late in the draft is a steal in my opinion. The primary need for my team remains RB2, but you can't pass on a stud just to fill your needs. (Contributed by: Agenda42)

Round 2, Pick 11
Positives
Has the potential to be the top fantasy receiver in the NFL.
Negatives
Where do we start? He's unhappy with his (HUGE) contract, he thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread, and basically he's just a headcase and a major thorn in the side of his coaches and teammates. I don't even know if his QB likes him.
Draft Strategy
16 of the first 22 picks were running backs. Although this year's draft has been labeled a deep RB draft, that is bordering on insane. I feel at this point all the value on the board is in the WR column, so I'm going to stock up. As long as Owens doesn't get hurt or have some kind of "poor me, I only make $5mil to play football" issue, he should be a top 5 receiver. (Contributed by: pcfountain)

Round 2, Pick 12
Positives
Putting the character problems aside for a second, it is hard to find a wideout more physically gifted than TO. He continues to produce every year, and this season should not be any different. Just think how good his numbers would have been if he played all 16 games last year. Could very well be the top scorer for recievers this year.
Negatives
Ahhhhh, where to start? First of all, the injuries are a concern. He hasn't played in all 16 games since 2001. Also, his character has always been a problem. It will be hard to find scoring chances when your quarterback and your head coach both hate your guts.
Draft Strategy
You can't win in fantasy football without taking risks. This is a perfect example. Everyone passed on him I assume because of the media uproar that he has caused lately. I am willing to take that risk. Bottom Line: TO will play, and he will produce big numbers. (Contributed by: howelwitzer)
