The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fitzgerald will no doubt be a high draft pick this year and even higher in PPR leagues. He has incredible explosiveness and chemistry with his quarterback. Interestingly, his biggest asset is also his biggest deterrent; Anquan Boldin. Regardless, Fitzgerald should once again be a top 5 receiver in 2009, unless you believe in the Madden curse......

Positives Fitzgerald is coming off a monster 2nd season where he had 100+ catches and over 1400 yards receiving. The Cardinals will continue to utilise the passing game this year as they are likely to be playing from behind a lot. The addition of Edgerrin James may open up more room in the secondary. Negatives Edgerrin James may take away some of his redzone looks. His numbers may be affected if Warner succumbs to injury again this season. Anquan Boldin is also another threat to take away some of Fitzgerald's numbers. Draft Strategy Fitzgerald was a very safe pick here.
