Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Brady is well ahead of schedule after rehabilitation due to the knee injury he suffered week 1 last season. New England has added WR Joey Galloway and RB Fed Taylor to add to his offensive arsenal. While we doubt he will
repeat 2007’s record breaking performance there is no reason to doubt he will return as one of the top QBs for the 2009 season.
Does any of you know what is the status of Sammy Morris? Bellicheck is a fantasy owners nightmare!!! why does he always have to be secretive about his injured players? It drives me nutZ!!!
Please if anyone has heard anything...let me know! ...

According to multiple reports, the Patriots are considering a trade that would land Raiders linebacker Derrick Burgess in exchange for a second- or third-round draft pick. The 6-foot-2, 260-pound Burgess, who turns 31 on Aug. 12, is a two-time Pro ...
Now Jason Taylor is also a free agent. Just a few months shy of his 35th birthday, he's unlikely to command a megabucks contract or a long-term one. He's coming off a down year with the Redskins (just 3 1/2 sacks after averaging slightly more than ...

Draft Analysis
Round 7, Pick 2
Positives Established WR's. New RB Dillon should take some of the offensive pressure away from the passing game. Short passing game offense reduces interception risk, but yards are dependent on WR's ability to separate after the catch. No real goal line back, so short TD passes increase his total. Negatives Plays on winning team with a strong defense. Won't be a lot of high offense shootouts. Doesn't really throw for a lot of yards, team uses ball control offense with a short passing game. Can't run, don't expect yards or TD's like the top 3 or 4 QB's. Draft Strategy Went WR/WR in 4th and 5th, anticipating a QB run before I could pick again at 6th and 7th round. Had 4 QB's thought could still be here, Brady was at the top of the list. (Contributed by: Cantebury)
Round 6, Pick 2
Positives Has been a solid fantasy producer since taking over for Drew Bledsoe in 2001. As the reigning Superbowl MVP, the expectations for another great season are on his shoulders. I see the addition of RB Corey Dillon as a positive because the Patriots should now have a running game which will open up the offense. Negatives The Patriots are not a team that is considered a high powered offense. Their Defense can score points and is the reason they have won 2 of the last 3 Superbowls. Draft Strategy I had decided to take two QBs with my 5th and 6th picks, so I was suprised a little when Pat decided to do the same. The good news was that I was at the start of the QB run and got two solid guys to anchor my team. I have the option later in the draft of sticking with my plan and taking a 3rd QB, or staying with these two if the well dries up and nothing is left. (Contributed by: Greg_Allen)
Round 7, Pick 6
Positives Brady has proven he's been able to perform without a strong supporting cast to become one of the most consistent fantasy QBs in the game. The addition of Corey Dillon to the mix shouldn't have much of an adverse affect on his numbers, in fact it may actually increase them. New England has never been afraid to throw the ball at the goal line and that shouldn't change. Negatives The Patriots rarely get into an offensive showdown with anyone, so Brady will probably never be the top fantasy QB on any given week. However, he rarely turns the ball over and the Patriots' frequent use of the screen pass anywhere on the field increases yardage opportunities. Draft Strategy Now that the other teams in the league all have a QB, it's time to put my stamp on this draft. The deep run on RB has created opportunities at other positions, QB being one of them. In fact, I have a feeling that I'll be dipping back into the QB list to further bulk up. Brady is a guy that I didn't target, but this is right around the time in the draft that I like to consider one and with Brady available it became a no brainer to get one here.
