Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Finishing just shy of his 2nd 1000-yard receiving season, Witten played most of the year hampered by rib and ankle injuries. A concern would be the loss of Terrell Owens and whether or not Dallas' WR's can make enough plays to keep double-teams away from the burly TE. Don't get me wrong, double coverage or not, Witten should be the first at his position to be taken off the board at your fantasy draft.
Lots of ups and downs. I critized them early and they went on to prove me wrong. I appreciate the effort these guys made to turn the year around and I am very proud of them as a team.
Can't wait to get my hands on Favre in Texas next year! I ...

All punks. Every one of these, and this is only to name a few. As far as I'm concerned, there is only one good and decent Cowboy in history, and that man is George Teague, ...

I want to thank all the Dallas fans in the tank for all your support through yet another trying year for the Boys. I know what you have been put through year after year and no one is more considerate to your plight than I am. I am trying to look on ...

Draft Analysis
Round 10, Pick 2
Positives Jason Witten had a decent rookie season for the Cowboys. He caught 35 balls for 347 yds and 1 TD in 15 games. He plays for a coach that has made the position of TE valuable on his teams. The talk is that they will use Witten in their long passing game this year. I have hopes of him hitting the top 5 TE’s.
Negatives Lack of experience is about all that goes against him. Draft Strategy I thought about grabbing one of the 2nd tier TE’s (Crumpler, Winslow, McMichael)earlier, but felt I could wait a few rounds and grab Witten without losing anything. As I mentioned after picking the rookie Jones RB’s, I am making round 4 my bye week sacrifice. This is my 5th selection with week 4 byes. I’ll gladly give up the one week while being stronger the rest of the weeks.

Round 13, Pick 11
Positives Jason is a young TE with a lot of promise. Bill Parcells is known for using his TEs and getting the most out of them. I expect Jason to be the next great TE that is part of Parcells system. Negatives Is 2004 the year that Jason becomes the stud TE for Parcells? If not I wasted this pick. Draft Strategy TEs on average don't score as many points as the other positions so I wasn't going to just take the next TE on the list. I took Jason hoping to hit a home run, and only time will tell if he has a great season. (Contributed by: Greg_Allen)
Round 16, Pick 3
Positives Tuna as a coach and Vinnie as a QB. Vinnie likes the TE (Baxter, Brady etc.) He had a very good rookie season and Campbell is their for insurance and to teach. Witten will emerge as a top ten TE. Negatives The status of the Dal QB situation. Does Vinnie have anything left in the tank? How long before Hanson emerges? Will Carter be back? will Carter's nose be clean? Etc. Etc. Draft Strategy I took my first TE in the 15th and I must take another TE. See Mili for additional information. (Contributed by: dpstark5)
