Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Week 13 Projections
On TV it looked like a great game against Denver for Alex Smith. On paper, he passed for only 220 yards and one TD. At less than 1 TD/game, Smith is a poor fantasy option in a critical Week 13 game.
Passsing: 229 Yards, 1 TD, 0 INT.
Rushing: 16 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
The addition of Jeremy Maclin didn't lead to a more pass-heavy Kansas City offense as some fantasy owners had hoped, but dink-and-dunk artist Smith still enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career. The 31-year-old Smith racked up a career high in passing yards and compiled his second-highest number of scoring strikes. However, Smith attempted only six more passes than he did two seasons ago to wrap up 2015 as the fantasy QB16. The Chiefs made the postseason by relying on the NFL's sixth-rated ground game and seventh-rated defense, so why would Kansas City bother switching to a pass-heavy attack? Smith will remain locked in as a game manager. Maclin and Travis Kelce return as his top two targets, and the team hopes lightning-fast Chris Conley can provide a needed deep threat. However, making big plays down the field just isn't Smith's thing, so don't expect much production from the Smith-to-Conley connection. The switch in offensive coordinators from Doug Pederson to the Brad Childress/Matt Nagy duo means very little since head coach Andy Reid will continue to call the plays. The risk-averse Smith remains a no-upside fantasy QB2 matchup-play option. In other words, he's a "break glass in case of emergency" fantasy starter.

Passing: 2250 Yards, 17 TD, 13 INT.
Rushing: 45 Yards, 0 TD.
