Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Brady is well ahead of schedule after rehabilitation due to the knee injury he suffered week 1 last season. New England has added WR Joey Galloway and RB Fed Taylor to add to his offensive arsenal. While we doubt he will
repeat 2007’s record breaking performance there is no reason to doubt he will return as one of the top QBs for the 2009 season.
Does any of you know what is the status of Sammy Morris? Bellicheck is a fantasy owners nightmare!!! why does he always have to be secretive about his injured players? It drives me nutZ!!!
Please if anyone has heard anything...let me know! ...
Top Ten reasons these players don't go over their 2007 stats.

According to multiple reports, the Patriots are considering a trade that would land Raiders linebacker Derrick Burgess in exchange for a second- or third-round draft pick. The 6-foot-2, 260-pound Burgess, who turns 31 on Aug. 12, is a two-time Pro ...
Now Jason Taylor is also a free agent. Just a few months shy of his 35th birthday, he's unlikely to command a megabucks contract or a long-term one. He's coming off a down year with the Redskins (just 3 1/2 sacks after averaging slightly more than ...

Draft Analysis
Round 6, Pick 2
Positives League scores only 3 points per passing TD. Brady - who was last year's pass yardage leader - is arguable better than Peyton Manning in this format. And I'm getting him in the 6th round? The biggest steal I've seen in any draft this year. Negatives Getting last year's passing yardage leader in a 3-pt-per-passing-TD league in the 6th round? Are you kidding? There are no negatives to this pick. It's all upside, baby! Draft Strategy League - Pacific Mako.
In this league, I was a complete RB-whore, looking to build a solid backfield of both talent and depth to last the entire season.
I've gone RB-RB-RB-WR-RB so far, so my WR2 is going to suffer hard for this pick, since it's 2 long rounds until my turn comes back up... But this was an amazing steal here. (Contributed by: phubar)
Round 5, Pick 1
Positives Brady threw for over 4,000 yards in '05, over 300 yards more than Peyton Manning with an inferior supporting cast. The Pats loaded up on offense in the draft giving Brady some additional options. Negatives Deion Branch's holdout is a concern. It's unlikely Brady will repeat the yardage numbers from a year ago. Draft Strategy This was a three-way tie between Brady, Hasselbeck, and Palmer. I ruled Palmer out with the injury questions. It was a very tough decision between Hass and Brady. I went with Brady thinking that what he'll lose in yards to Hass, he'll make up in TDs. Alexander will reduce Hass's scoring chances, while Brady is more likely to throw close to the goal with Dillon getting long in the tooth. This was the right time to take a QB, the only question is did I select the right one? (Contributed by: Ron_Anish)
Round 4, Pick 4
Positives Brady is outstanding field general that produces top tier fantasy numbers every year. Last year, though his TD totals dropped from 28 to 26, he threw for over 4000 yards for the first time and with aging RB Corey Dillon behind him we can expect to see him slinging the rock even more this season. He is incredibly accurate and always seems to find the open man while remaining incredibly durable. Also New England's spread the wealth offensive system benefits Brady as it keeps the secondary from ganging up on any one player. In terms of their offensive line Brady can look forward to an even better protection this year with the return of two key players who were lost to injury last season, Matt Light and Dan Koppen. It doesn't hurt that we both went to Serra High School in San Mateo either. Negatives Brady is going to be missing his number one target in Deion Branch as the team has given him permission to seek a trade while he is still holding out. Though this doesn't seem to be effecting him during the preseason (35-54 for 404 and 1 TD) it doesn't help when your most talented WR decides to bow out. Dillon is getting a little older and though still effective when healthy, he can't take the kind of beating that he use to. This will allow defenses to focus more on Brady and less on the rushing attack unless the rookie RB Laurence Maroney steps up. Draft Strategy At this point it is obvious that I am screwed at RB so it is time to start grabbing top tier players at all my other positions to round out my team and hopefully land a sleeper in the later rounds to fill out my RB situation. With Manning off the board the next best QB was Tom Brady, who is ranked 22nd on my personal top 100. Brady is durable and highly under rated and though the potential loss of Branch will sting a bit, I don't think it will keep him from producing over 4000 yards and close to if not over 30 TDs this season.
