Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The Dolphins finished the 2008 as the 13th ranked fantasy defense led by Joey Porter's 18 sacks. Rookie additions Vontae Davis and Sean Smith will be competing for starting jobs, and Jason Taylor returns as a situational player. Expect similar results as last season.
Alright. The first preseason game is in the books and we got a chance to look at White for a couple quarters. I think he looked pretty good, even though he was playing second and third stringers. He showed great escape ability and threw the ball ...
Man, do we have the worst Receivers in creation or what? Mr. Touch Football, a.k.a. Ted Ginn, Jr., a deep threat on a team with a QB who can't throw more than 30 yards. Only one with any value is possibly Davone Bess, who has a great pair of ...

Draft Analysis
Round 9, Pick 2
Positives A consistantly tough D strengthend with the addition of Porter. This unit has the best LBs in the game. A consistant ball stripping unit that only gave up a little over 100 rushing yards per game. Under the scrutiny of Dom Capers, this unit will see great improvement in their pass defense numbers. Negatives An aging defense that that had only recorded only 8 INTs last season. Draft Strategy Only two Ds have been taken thus far in the draft (Bears and Ravens). I'm not sure a run will start here, but the good Ds generate tons of points in this format and I wanted one. Miami's defense is projected any where from #3 to #10 depending on where you look. I think with the addition of Porter and the continuation of Campers leadsership this unit will flourish in 2007 making it dominate yet another season. I do need a #3 WR yet, but what was left on the board wouldn't generate the points this starting D will week-in and week-out. (Contributed by: mrkkti)
Round 11, Pick 2
Positives Consistently strong, usually gets off to a fast start. Negatives If offense stalls out like last year and leaves them on the field too long they will wear down and give up points and yards late in the game. Draft Strategy Needed to get my D - top 5 or 6 were already taken. I can always grab another D later and play weekly matchups if necessary. (Contributed by: DAFLCommish)
