Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the QB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

At first glance it would seem Bulger should have a bounce back year. The Rams drafted a top left tackle in Jason Smith, they didn't use a high draft pick on a quarterback, and he will be fully healthy. However, Steven Jackson will also be completely healthy, the wide receivers lack experience, and Steve Spagnuolo is a defensive minded rookie head coach. Bulger shouild improve on last year's numbers but can no longer be considered anything but a low end #2 QB.

Passing: 2640 Yards, 14 TD, 15 INT.
Rushing: 40 Yards, 0 TD.

So, if we pick OT with the first, there won't be a LB in the 2nd. If we pick LB in the first, there won't be an OT in the 2nd. --- I say, pick LB, because, frankly the OT's are not that good anyway....

Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 6, Pick 10
Positives
Bulger averaged 283 yards/game in 2004, and was at it again in 2006 (287 y/gm) before getting injured. All those yards are nice in a scoring system that gives 1 pt / 20 yards passing and only 3 points for a passing TD. Torry Holt gives him a top receiver target. The Rams are playing from behind a lot, so often it's bombs away in the second half.
Negatives
With Martz gone the Rams will throw less, and run more. But this could help keep Bulger healthy.
Draft Strategy
I drafted Bulger with pick #70, which is a bit later than his average draft position. Still, depending on your roster needs, it might benefit you to pass on him and take a QB in the next round. I had the choice between Bulger and Eli at this pick, and it was a tough choice. Eli has the better upside to be sure, but I expect them to end the season with similar point totals (barring injury). And since I already had Burress I didn't really want to double down on Eli and the Giants offense. I also like the St. Louis dome over the Meadowlands later in the season. (Contributed by: mf)
