Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
It looks like the Case-Keenum-to-Andre-Johnson connection is clicking again. Start Johnson as a fantasy WR1 Thursday night versus a Jaguars defense that allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to enemy wide outs during the last month.
It was a tale of two halves for Johnson in 2012 as he had 42 receptions for 562 yards and two touchdowns after eight games. But boy, what a second half to 2012 he had. Over the last eight games Johnson had 70 receptions for 1,036 yards and two touchdowns. The Texans targeted Johnson on 58.1% of their pass attempts to receivers, the highest rate in the league. In order to ease the pressure on Johnson, the Texans drafted DeAndre Hopkins out of Clemson No. 27 in the first round and expect him to step right in and start. Let others overpay for last year’s stats as we some regression in Andre’s game in 2013.
