Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the PK position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis

The Cardinals have the 6th easiest schedule in 2009 thanks to playing the NFC West 6 times. Expect teams to slow down the Cardinal offense a bit more now that they've had an off-season to make adjustments. Rackers should see more field goal attempts than last year and will contend for another top 10 year.

Grade (0 Worst - 5 Best): 3.5

Average Draft Position (ADP) Tracker
Draft Analysis
Round 12, Pick 12
Positives
Reliable kicker on high scoring team.
Negatives

Draft Strategy
12th round and got maybe best kicker. Good value even for a kicker! (Contributed by: chic7157)

Round 11, Pick 6
Positives
Argueably the best leg in the league right now. Whether the Cardinals finally get some offensive horsepower or not, he's gonna get his kicks, and he's gonna get his shots at the long ones (and the bonus points that come with it)
Negatives
Ummmmmmmmm................other than he's a kicker, you got me.
Draft Strategy
A little early even for a top 2 or 3 kicker, but one was already drafted which meant that the trigger could be pulled on Rackers at any given moment. I felt that if I was going to stick to the original strategy of dominance at unconventional positions, I couldn't wait any longer on taking him. Lord knows that passing up RB and QB opportunities earlier had already cost me. (Contributed by: getdownmmmkay)

Round 14, Pick 4
Positives
Highest rated PK on most boards.
Negatives
His mental game might be the issue (trying to keep up with what he accomplished last year).
Draft Strategy
I really wanted Vanderjagt but could not take him because of my draft system. I only take one TE,PK,DEF in the draft. Then, I must drop a player (usually a rookie gamble or injured player) to pick up a TE,PK,DEF during my player's bye week. As such, these position can not have the same bye week or I would have to drop two players (TE Witten and PK Vanderjagt both have a bye in week 3). So, I went with Rackers.
