Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Addai was a disappointment for all in 08. His past production can be attributed more to a well established offense, than personal athletic ability. The former first round selection is going for cheap money these days and may prove to be a decent "buy-low" candidate. He functioned better as a part-time producer. Look for Indy to return to a two back timeshare that worked so well in Addai's rookie season. Addai should be the lead man in a lop-sided committee, but Donald Brown will see immediate playing time. Neither back is a dominant inside runner, so goal-line looks could flip-flop.
The Colts intend to keep Peyton Manning. "Our clear intention is to have Peyton finish his career here,'' Colts president Bill Polian said as the team prepared for a Wednesday night practice at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. "There ...

Draft Analysis
Round 4, Pick 10
Positives A talented rookie in a high powered offense, so if he can win the starting job from Dominic Rhodes he could be very productive. Should get some playing time, even at the start of the season.
Negatives He has to compete with Dominic Rhodes, a veteran that has the trust of the coaches and gained 1100 yds and scored 9 TDs for the Colts in 2001. Rhodes got his chances last year at the goal line (4 TDs on 40 carries) so he will probably get the goal line carries instead of Addai. At least early in the year. Draft Strategy If you get Addai you need to also draft Rhodes. I thought I could get Rhodes in round 6, but he didn't make it that far. (Contributed by: mf)
Round 4, Pick 8
Positives Have no clue. Coaches say he's great. High poowered O. Negatives Rook! With a capital R. He might be able to run in this offense, but can he block and catch? Draft Strategy I must be nuts. But 26 RB's are gone. Like I said earlier, draft TE 3rd, you will scamble. (Contributed by: defcon4)
Round 4, Pick 12
Positives Reports are that the Colts will go with a committee, and Addai will be a part of that committee. It is always possible that one player can emerge, and in this case I'll take my chances on the rookie. Indy felt that they could do without Edgerrin James and picked Addai in the draft to replace him. At the very least he will get a lot of playing time so the Colts know what they drafted and are paying for. Negatives Always dicey to pick a rookie RB, especially this early in the draft. Edgerrin James left some big shoes to fill, ones that aren't going to be filled by a single player. Draft Strategy This year I'm going with a RB-WR-WR strategy, knowing that I will pick up a pile of questionable RBs and backup RBs to fill out my RB2 slot. I believe this to be a good strategy, especially given my draft position (1.01, 2.12, etc). Now is as good a time as any to take a chance on a RB that could be the lone starter in a strong offense.
