Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Taylor is a capable back, and he'll probably find himself as a starter somewhere in 2010 when he's a free agent. For 2009, temper your expectations. Peterson is and always will be the starter, and we even see AP as being on the field in passing situations more in 2009 than in 2008. Taylor will probably be the first backup RB taken, we'd advise using the pick on someone you can use.
And you can take it to the bank!
Ryan Longwell was on with PA today, and said Brett told him how much fun he had this year. Longwell (One of Brett's best friends on the team) is convinced he will be back.
Hopefully he gets rested up down ...

Draft Analysis
Round 7, Pick 6
Positives Taylor has the skill set of a NFL starting RB. He's backing up a RB who has durability questions. If he gets the nod, he will put up RB2 numbers behind that Dominant MIN O Line on a run first team. Negatives He's runs behind a RB with elite talent who will get the majority of carries. Draft Strategy I could have gone WR here, but Given my last round Gamble with Mendenhall as a RB3 and what what was left @ RB, i feel like i got really good value in Taylor. I'll grab my WR3 later on in the draft. (Contributed by: djsquillz)
Round 7, Pick 5
Positives With his potential touches, could be a possible RB2. Will receive a lot of dump off passes to pad his reception total. Will get a lot of carries due to AP's style of running. Negatives Not many. Draft Strategy May be a bit of a reach, but I feel pretty secure at RB now. Last season, I suffered at RB with little depth. (Contributed by: tlandavazo)
Round 8, Pick 6
Positives Solid RB, even in a secondary role, he is more than a hadncuff, and will be a part of the Viking's offense. Even with AP playing. And should AP get at all dinged up, Taylor's role, and value, shoot way up. Negatives The MN passing game is lacking, so his third-down role is of less value, and he is, after all, behind one of the best RBs playing football. Draft Strategy I like grabbing him for two reasons, his potential should he get an expanded opportunity, and the fact that as a spot starter he should be able to be counted on to get you some points regardless. Maybe not RB1-2 points, but then again, that is not where I drafted him. (Contributed by: Pat_Smith)
