Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Though the Bears have traditionally been one of the top fantasy defenses, they continue to slide down the rankings. I have them just inside the top 10. They haven't been forcing the turnovers so if you are looking for an impact fantasy defense, look elsewhere.

"We're finally in the giant nebulous off season, and we are smack in the middle of a coaching search to fill the new offensive and defensive coordinator openings. Both of these positions are of great importance to the team, but ...
According to Bobby Wade, Urlacher told him Cutler's a p***y this past weekend in Vegas. Trouble in paradise? Said on KFAN, a Minny station.
670 the score is reporting that during OTAs there was a near altercation between Urlacher and Cutler ...
i never thought i would see that after last season....and cutler improved in week 2....but i'm extremely suprised olsen isn't getting many looks....is that maybe cause he's more of a threat now or what?
thoughts / opinions?
i hate benching ...
it's looking like not having Urlacher on the field really effects our team's moral.. Missed tackles, Harris' ejection, i mean come on!...

Draft Analysis
Round 6, Pick 7
Positives They put up points every week, nuff said. Negatives None, best defense in the NFL. Draft Strategy I shifted my strategy some here. Top QBs and TEs gone. Still a number of good QBs on table and hope that at least one makes it to the next round (targeting Leinart). I have a sleeper pick in mind for TE (McMichael) and feel that he will be there in the later rounds. Bottom line, while defenses may not win a championships in FF, the Bears are the one D that can be counted upon week after week. (Contributed by: GTOsRule)
Round 5, Pick 7
Positives Best Fantasy Defense in 2007, seconf best in 2006 (not sure why they weren't best in 2007)and one of the esiest schedules in the NFL.. Negatives Taking a Defense in the 5th round, might not pan out, but you have got to take some risks and I don't have to play "pick a defesne a week" Draft Strategy A Defense in the 5th round?? I know that is what you are thinking, but look at the scoring for this league. Defenses are worth a lot in this league. Ravens scored 280 points in 2006 and were the 13th highest player in the league. the Bears scored 264 points and were the 24th highest player in the league. I expect the Bears to scores as much if not more in 2007.
Call me crazy later if it doesn't pan out (Contributed by: salukis)
Round 7, Pick 4
Positives In this system top D's are money. Bears will be a steady producer week in and week out. Negatives Nope. D's can't get injured. D's can't get benched. Bears D will face Vikes and Packs twice. Oh… these are positives again. Sorry. Draft Strategy I love this pick. Baltimore and Bears amassed close to 300 points last year. That's top 20 figures in these leagues. Top 20 figures from the 7:04 is nothing but pure gold. (Contributed by: Paddler)
