Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
2008 was not a good year for New England’s defense, they finished the season ranked as the 19th Fantasy defense. Questions remain as to who is going to replace
Vrabel. With the infusion of youth from the draft and head coach Bill Belichick focused on the defense and not the offense they will be better than last season.
Does any of you know what is the status of Sammy Morris? Bellicheck is a fantasy owners nightmare!!! why does he always have to be secretive about his injured players? It drives me nutZ!!!
Please if anyone has heard anything...let me know! ...

According to multiple reports, the Patriots are considering a trade that would land Raiders linebacker Derrick Burgess in exchange for a second- or third-round draft pick. The 6-foot-2, 260-pound Burgess, who turns 31 on Aug. 12, is a two-time Pro ...

Round 7, Pick 12
Positives Solid Team Defense. They don't rely on one guy to make it all happen...it's truly a team effort. Every season they lose a "key" guy and then they come out and kick butt. Baltimore was my first choice, but someone else had the same idea. I feel pretty confident taking the Pats. I think their division isn't the toughest, offensively, boosting their value a bit, in my mind. Negatives They lose "key" guys every offseason...will this be the season it catches up with them? Draft Strategy Just wanted to get the majority of my starting lineup drafted. Figured I can find value at TE later in the draft. (Contributed by: Stankweasels)
Round 9, Pick 1
Positives Solid Defense that should be just as good as last year. Impossible to play at home. Negatives Losing Ty Law, but he didn't have a good year last year. Draft Strategy I wanted to pickup a good defense before there was a run. I have no idea who to pick for TE now. The field is so similar. Any one of them could have a great/bad year.
