Strength of Schedule

The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Steps up his game on the big stage
Receiving: 7 Receptions, 90 Yards, 1 TD.

Wayne's stats suffered during his transition into the headlining role in the Colts passing attack. He was on the receiving end of only 6 of Peyton Mannings 27 touchdowns. His receptions dropped from 104 in 2007 to 82 in 2008. But he is a student of the position, and remains one of the best wide-outs in the league. Wayne is relatively small compared to some of his towering company in the position. He relys more on his football intelligence and crisp route running than his stature. Wayne should bounce back from a mediocre 08 campaign. He's not the sexiest of picks, but remains one of the safest picks in the game. Sometimes its better to be safe than sexy.

Receiving: 90 Receptions, 1300 Yards, 11 TD.

Draft Analysis
Round 3, Pick 2
Positives
Peyton Manning throws to him. And really it's all about Peyton's coat-tails. Marvin's a little long in the tooth, so there's the whole "is this year Reggie Wayne siezes the reins?" wishful thinking. He has improved every year, and is pretty dynamic receiver with speed and hands. If there's a deep threat on the Colts, Reggie's it.
Negatives
The Colts might have too many receiving options, y'know? Peyton Manning still throws to Marvin, despite his long-in-the-toothedness. And how much will a maturing Addai and new slot-jockey Anthony Gonzalez eat into Reggie's production? Wayne always struck me as feast or famine, but you could make that case for a lot of WRs.
Draft Strategy
This was a difficult pick for me. Torry Holt was staring me in the face, and Larry Fitzgerald was also giving me some come-hither glances. However, I already picked Steven Jackson and Edge James, so I was a little worried about putting too many eggs in the STL/ARI basket. Soooo... it basically came down to Wayne, Roy Williams, and Lee Evans. WRs are pretty much a crapshoot every year anyway, and, simply put, I trust Manning a lot more than Kitna or Losman. Round 2, Pick 5
Positives
has the best all time quarter back throwing to him. Manning spreads the ball out so well that niether reggie or marvin ever starve for attention. speaking of Marvin he is a great guy to make the defenders honest and stay away from doubling on reggie ( thanks Marvin )
Negatives
he shares TDs with marvin- Manning spreads the ball around.
Draft Strategy
since i missed my first round pick because i was at work for 12 hours monday and fell asleep as soon as i got home ( my fault sorry guys ) i will need to concentrate on building my team from a recievers point of view. I see big things in this young mans future and he deserves a place on my team to do it. there will be a few running backs that i can snag in later rounds that i won't be ashamed to have on my team. Round 3, Pick 2
Positives
Playing with number one QB in league can't hurt. This could be year Wayne finally takes over as number one receiver from Harrison.
Negatives
Possible chance of losing touches to Gonzales.
