Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
If only the Vikings had a consistent offense, this would boost their fantasy defense into the top 3. Minnesota should be a fantasy starter, probably in the range of the 8-10th best. While other owners are taking the top defenses early, you can cash in later on with the Vikings as they should provide consisten numbers all season.
And you can take it to the bank!
Ryan Longwell was on with PA today, and said Brett told him how much fun he had this year. Longwell (One of Brett's best friends on the team) is convinced he will be back.
Hopefully he gets rested up down ...

Draft Analysis
Round 14, Pick 4
Positives The only team in the league that gets to play the anemic Lions, Packers, and Bears offenses twice. Largely because of this, they were able to put up 4 20 point games and finish the year as the #4 overall defense last season.
This season's schedule looks especially favorable, with Oakland, KC, Atlanta, and Washington's shaky QB situations all on the non-divisional calendar. Negatives Not really that talented a unit. No real standout individual players -- no 100 solo tackle guys, no 10 sacks guys, nobody with even 5 picks last season. Not a defense you want to start against a good opponent. Draft Strategy I would have liked to get one of the two elite defenses, but they went earlier than I was willing to draft them. Thus, I end up playing defense based on the matchups, and nobody has more good matchups than the Vikings this season. (Contributed by: Agenda42)

Draft Strategy Defense number 2. Made this pick based on sarting defense bye week. (Contributed by: Thrashers)
