Fantasy Analysis
The experts touted Luck as the most polished and NFL-ready passer to come out of the college ranks in a long time, and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 draft didn’t disappoint. Thanks to a boost from a surprisingly effective supporting cast that includes stud Reggie Wayne and emerging deep threat T.Y. Hilton, the talented Luck set a new single-season mark for passing yards by a rookie (4,374), which shattered the old mark set by Cam Newton in 2011. The Colts’ triggerman, who turns 24 in September, also displayed some solid scrambling ability, amassing five rushing touchdowns. However, Luck struggled with turnovers in road contests; he tossed 13 of his 18 picks in games played outside Lucas Oil Stadium. New offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton, who was Luck’s play-caller for one season at Stanford, will keep most of the same playbook from last year. But the Colts are expected to run a more balanced attack, which, unfortunately, means a little less passing. However, since Indianapolis’ defense is still a work in progress, Luck will get into some shootouts. Darrius Heyward-Bey replaces deep threat Donnie Avery (Chiefs). It would be a total shock if the talented Luck didn’t take another step forward in his development. Draft him as a solid fantasy QB1.

Passing: 4500 Yards, TD, 15 INT.
Rushing: 275 Yards, 4 TD.
