Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
If there was a downside to Colin Kaepernick’s ascension at quarterback for the 49ers last year, it’s that Vernon Davis’ fantasy production fell off a cliff. Davis didn’t top 30 receiving yards in a game or score a touchdown after Week 12. That makes the eighth-year veteran quite possibly the riskiest fantasy pick of any tight end in the top 10, but as his two 100-yard games in the 2012 postseason shows, Davis is more than capable of putting up big numbers if Kaepernick will just throw him the ball.
