Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
In two out of three seasons from 2009-2011 Brent Celek was a top 10 fantasy option at his position, and even in last year’s nightmare season for the Eagles Celek still managed 57 catches for 684 yards. However, Celek only scored one touchdown a season ago, trashing his fantasy value. The 28-year-old isn’t a great fit for Chip Kelly’s up-tempo offense in Philly, and the team drafted tight end Zach Ertz early in the second round. Celek may improve slightly on last year’s TE21 finish, but it isn’t going to be by much.
