|With supposed defensive mastermind Rex Ryan joining the team as head coach last year, the Buffalo Bills were supposed to make the leap from really good NFL defense to truly frightening one. Instead, while the team played the run well the pass rush fell off a cliff, and the Bills finished the year outside the top 20 in most fantasy scoring systems. Big changes are underfoot in 2016 under new DC Rob Ryan. Mario Williams is gone, and the team used their first three picks in the 2016 draft on edge rusher Shaq Lawson, linebacker Reggie Ragland and end Adolphus Washington, all of whom should see significant playing time as rookies. On paper this defense is stout at every level -- if they rebound and play to their potential the Bills could offer elite-level fantasy production at a possible discount if last year's slide causes their ADP to follow suit. That's a lotta ifs, though.|
