Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The loss of Revis would affect any team, but it's not like Cromartie did a bad job of holding down the fort. Sophomore cornerback Kyle Wilson and highly drafted rookie Dee Milliner will help make the transition more painless. Ultimately however the Jets defense is all about pressure. With one of the brightest (and youngest) defensive lines in the league, if Buddy Ryan can coax the best out of young linebackers Quinton Coples and Demario Davis, then we may be seeing the start of a renaissance for the Gang Green.
