Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.

At first glance, the Bengals appear a unit that would appeal to fantasy owners. Cincy ranked inside the top 10 in the NFL in sacks last year with 42 thanks mainly to end Carlos Dunlap and tackle Geno Atkins, and safety Reggie Nelson tied for the NFL lead with eight interceptions. However, a closer look reveals a fantasy finish outside the top 15 in many scoring systems -- and a unit that hasn't been a dependable weekly starter since Mike Zimmer left to run the Minnesota Vikings. The Bengals are a very good NFL defense, and they have some value for fantasy owners. Just don't pay an elite price tag based on perception, because the production doesn't match. Investing in the Bengals as a lower-end starter or matchup play is the wiser course of action.
