Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Week 13 Projections
This unit has not done much since their early season success. The Cowboys will provide a staunch test, making these guys a middle of the road option at best this week.
1 Sacks, 1 Ints, 0 Fumbles
Don't look now, but the Minnesota Vikings have quietly assembled one of the most talented young defenses in the NFL. Whether it's on the line (Sharrif Floyd and Everson Griffen), at linebacker (Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks) or in the secondary (Harrison Smith and Xavier Rhodes), the Vikings have skilled players at all levels of the defense who are just entering the prime of their careers. As Sean Wagner-McGough of CBS Sports wrote, just don't tell head coach Mike Zimmer that. 'There's a lot of things we didn't do good enough,' Zimmer said. 'We were good in situations. We were good in third downs for the most part, we were good in the red zone so that kept some of the scores down, I think. But we could be a lot better.' We expect the Vikings to improve in 2016 -- and that includes bettering last year's seventh-place finish in fantasy points. If you're looking for elite fantasy upside without the elite price tag, the purple and gold are a squad to target.
