Season Projections
All hail the 2015 King of fantasy quarterbacks! Operating without 1,000-yard wideout Kelvin Benjamin (torn ACL) for the entire season, Newton elevated an overall mediocre collection of receivers with a career high in touchdown passes. He was the NFL's Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year while racking up the most productive fantasy campaign of his career. The Panthers' triggerman also became the first quarterback in NFL history to pass for at least 30 scores and run for 10 in the same season. While Newton's accuracy still remains suspect (59.6 career completion percentage) and a down tick in touchdown passes is likely (his second-highest total of scoring strikes was just 24 in 2013), there's nothing to stop Newton from dominating again as the 27-year-old dual-threat gunslinger enters the prime of his career. Benjamin returns healthy along with stud Greg Olsen, deep-threat Ted Ginn and the promising Devin Funchess. Newton remains the NFL's premier rushing quarterback, which always propels his fantasy value into the stratosphere. He led the position in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in 2015, and Newton has finished in the top four in rushing yards and rushing scores among quarterbacks four seasons in a row. Since Newton is built like a tank and has missed just two games in five years, injuries aren't much of a worry. Can Newton rack up 10 rushing scores again? Don't bet against Carolina's top red-zone running threat.

Passing: 224 Yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
Rushing: 24 Yards, 0 TD.
