Season Projections
A specialist if there ever was one, Vereen moved from New England to New York in 2015 and continued to do precisely what he always does: collect approximately 50 passes, turn those into 450-500 yards, and score 3.5 times a year. Vereen is a rarity in fantasy football, a pure passing-catching back that can be counted on, each year, to give fantasy owners the exact same production that is expected of him; nothing more, nothing less. The Giants added Paul Perkins in the draft, which could potentially cut into Vereen's usage, but smart money is on at least one more year of the same consistency from Vereen in the Giants attack. If you go all WR early in your draft, you can do worse than Vereen as a low-end PPR RB coming off your bench. Continue to ignore in standard leagues.
