Fantasy Analysis
Week 3 Projections
With a two game 13-147-2 stat line Travis Benjamin is playing at a very high level. After catching 13 of 15 targets so far, expect Rivers to throw to him more and more and also for him to get more defensive coverage. Overall he should do well and is a definite play every week.
Receiving: 6 Receptions, 71 Yards, 1 TD.

Season Projections
Benjamin could not have timed his career year any better as he was in the last year of his rookie contract and about to hit free agency. After catching a total of 41 passes (5 TDs) in his first three years combined, he exploded for 68 receptions (5 TDs) in 2015. That career year landed him a four-year, $24 million ($13 million guaranteed) deal with the Chargers. Benjamin will move into the No. 2 wide receiver role formerly held by Malcom Floyd. For the first time in his career, Benjamin will be playing with a bona fide star at quarterback in 5-time Pro Bowler Philip Rivers. He'll be playing across from Keenan Allen who was on pace for a 2015 stat line of 134/1,450/8 until he suffered a season-ending kidney injury in Week 8. With Allen, ageless wonder Antonio Gates and Danny Woodhead all healthy heading into 2016, Benjamin will be hard-pressed to see the number of targets that he did in Cleveland last year. But he'll be a very solid option with plenty of upside should any of the aforementioned players go down with an injury.

Rushing: 4 Yards, 0 TD.
Receiving: 77 Receptions, 973 Yards, 9 TD.
