Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. With Jackson signing in Tampa Bay prior to the 2012 season fantasy owners doubted his ability to produce at an elite level. Boy, were we wrong. Jackson set career highs in receptions with 72 and receiving yards with 1,384. A lot of the thanks should go to stud-rookie running back, Doug Martin. Martin was better than advertised and forced defenses to respect the run opening things up for Jackson and it showed in the splits as Jackson caught 26 passes for 465 yards and three touchdowns in the first half of games while hauling in 45 passes for 915 yards and five touchdowns in the second half of games.
