Fantasy Analysis

Peterson entered last season fresh off of a mind blowing performance in 2012 during which he surpassed 2,000 yards rushing with 13 touchdowns and a per carry average of 6.0. Lest we forget, AP accomplished all of this while returning from major knee surgery. There was bound to be a decrease in 2013 production and a groin injury limited Peterson to only 14 games as his touches decreased by 80. Still, all he did was finish as a top-10 fantasy running back for the seventh time in his career. Peterson is expected to be good to go for off-season activities and new offensive coordinator Norv Turner is talking about utilizing him more in the passing game. It's possible that AP could eclipse his season high of 43 receptions set back in 2009.
