Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Since taking over as Seattle's full-time starting tailback in 2011, "Beast Mode" has finished as a top-six fantasy runner in most scoring formats two years in a row, and the 27-year-old Lynch is coming off the best season of his career. The eighth-year pro racked up a personal-best 315 carries, which ranked fifth in the NFL, and his career-high 1,590 rushing yards ranked second behind 2012 rushing champion Adrian Peterson. The powerful 5-foot-11, 215-pound Lynch runs much bigger than his size, and he has enough speed and shiftiness to make tacklers miss. Unfortunately, Lynch isn't a big part of the passing game; he has averaged just 26 catches, 204 receiving yards and one touchdown grab per season during the last two years. But Lynch's lack of production as a receiver is offset by his consistency. Lynch has rushed for at least 85 yards in 23 of his last 26 games and has scored 23 touchdowns during that stretch. Even with talented new go-to receiver Percy Harvin in the fold, the Seahawks insist they will continue to pound the football with Lynch. He is a rock-solid fantasy RB1. By the way, Lynch is facing a possible two-to-four game suspension in connection with a 2012 DUI arrest, which is why he has dropped in a lot of preseason rankings. Lynch's trial was delayed until early July.
