Fantasy Analysis
Week 1 Projections
The speedy Ginn has assumed the role of slot receiver and deep threat, so his fantasy production will remain boom or bust from week to week as usual. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he caught a long one, but Ginn isn’t a recommended start versus a Denver Broncos secondary that was the NFL’s best at shutting down opposing wideouts.
Rushing: 2 Yards, 0 TD.
Receiving: 2 Receptions, 38 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
The last thing that you want to do in fantasy football is chase last year's stats. And that couldn't be more true than with Ginn heading into the 2016 season. He set a career high with 10 TDs in 2015, doubling his previous high of five set in 2013. As good as Ginn's 2015 season was, it could have been a lot better. While only being targeted 96 times, he dropped 10 balls, which isn't breaking news as Ginn has had hands of stone since entering the league back in 2007. You'll also want to keep in mind that Ginn has scored 2-or-less touchdowns in seven of his nine seasons. The healthy return of Kelvin Benjamin and maturation of second-year wideout Devin Funchess will eat into Ginn's targets especially with QB Cam Newton proclaiming that the Panthers will be using a wide receiver by committee approach in 2016.

Rushing: 28 Yards, 1 TD.
Receiving: 38 Receptions, 635 Yards, 4 TD.
