Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The drafting of Amari Cooper is a blessing in disguise for Crabtree as he won't have to face the top cover-man of opposing defenses. Instead, he'll get to rehab his game while defenses worry about the Raiders much improved running game (Latavius Murray and Roy Helu) and the electrifying rookie Cooper. Crabtree was brought in on a 1-year prove-it deal so he will have plenty of incentive to show that he's still got some gas left in the tank.
