Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the TE position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
There was no bigger surprise at the tight end position in 2012 than Brandon Myers, who came from nowhere to log 79 catches, 806 yards and four touchdowns for the Oakland Raiders. Those numbers were enough to get Myers inside the top 10 tight ends last year, but the odds are stacked against a repeat. Myers isn’t a worldbeating talent, and the Giants have a much better array of receiving talent than the Raiders did a season ago. Don’t chase Myers’ 2012 production. All you’ll be doing is chasing your tail.
