Fantasy Analysis
Week 13 Projections
Edleman remains a must start in PPR leagues as he continues to be heavily targeted by Brady and led the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards Week 12. Expect similar results Week 13 when the Patriots face the Rams.
Rushing: 3 Yards, 0 TD.
Receiving: 5 Receptions, 51 Yards, 0 TD.

Season Projections
At 30 years old and with two foot surgeries since Week 10 of last season, the quarterback-turned-wide receiver has us a little worried entering the 2016 season. The Patriots also seem a bit concerned as they've added TE Martellus Bennett from Chicago and WR Chris Hogan from Buffalo to assist QB Tom Brady in the short passing game. After having surgery during the season to insert a pin into his broken foot, Edelman needed another surgery in February. So while the early word is that Edelman will be ready in advance of Week 1, he's way too valuable to the Patriots offense to overuse during the regular season. That's why Bennett and Hogan were brought in to provide multiple options. If things go the way the Patriots and Bill Belichick would like, Edelman will not need to catch 100 passes for the Pats to be effective.

Rushing: 15 Yards, 0 TD.
Receiving: 25 Receptions, 249 Yards, 2 TD.
