Fantasy Analysis
Season Projections
What does it tell you about the expectations placed on Thomas, when a stat line of 105/1,304/6, feels like a disappointment? Yet, despite that production, he finished as the No. 11 wide receiver in PPR formats. Was is the sub-par quarterbacking of both Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler? Was it the drops? He was tied for 5th-most with nine. Was it the lack of YAC? Last season, he finished 22nd with 418 yards after catch. In 2014, he finished 4th in the NFL with a 647 yards after catch. And in 2013, he lead the NFL with 704 yards after catch. Regardless of what suppressed Thomas' production in the past, things are not looking any better going forward. Currently, the starting QB will be decided between a competition consisting of Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch. Would any combination of those three be better than Manning and Osweiler? We think not. And given the Broncos offseason moves at running back, it appears that they're committing even more so to a run-first offense. They matched Miami's $18 million free agent offer to RB C.J. Anderson and selected arguably the No. 2 RB in this year's draft, Devontae Booker, in the 4th round. So as things stand right now in Denver, we don't anticipate Thomas providing truly elite production in 2016.

Receiving: 95 Receptions, 1231 Yards, 8 TD.
