Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
An ankle injury cost Brown a lot of his burst in 2012 as his yards per reception dropped from 16.1 in 2011 to 11.9 in 2012. The loss of Mike Wallace creates a gaping hole in the Steelers receiving corps especially with the only significant addition being third round draft pick Markus Wheaton out of Oregon State. Brown was targeted 105 times in 2012 but look for that number to go up significantly as they redistribute Wallace’s 119 targets. There’s plenty of upside with Brown in 2013.
