Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
While this is the season that we’ll see a changing of the guard at wide receiver for Atlanta, it doesn’t mean that White is washed up. Far from it. White is one of the most consistent receivers in the NFL and while the attention will be shifting towards the high-light known as Julio Jones, the savvy fantasy player will very much appreciate what White brings to the table. Those in PPR leagues will appreciate the fact that White had five or more receptions in 12 games.
Positives "Roddy White confirms the Falcons plan a more aggressive aerial attack with the offense running through Matt Ryan this season". I think Michal Turner may be wearing down some, so there's going to be more balls in the air in Atlanta. Roddy White led the NFL with 179 targets last year. Couldn't pass him up at the 15th overall pick in a PPR. Being an Atlanta native, I get to catch all of Roddy's games and he's a lot more dynamic than he gets credit for. Matt Ryan sees it too. Negatives Julio Jones could possibly take some targets away from White, but I think he'll take some coverage off him too. Draft Strategy I was planning to go RB/RB to start this draft, but I had Knowshon Moreno in my sights in the third or fourth round, so when White fell to me at 15 overall in a PPR, I pounced. I'm SOOO glad I used my first round pick on a RB instead of shooting for White/C. Johnson/Fitzgerald too early. (Contributed by: datacore)
