Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the RB position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
The sixth-year pro touched the ball a season-high 17 times last week, but don't expect a repeat of that fluky workload. Greene is a weak play Thursday night versus a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that ceded 111.5 rushing yards and 1.3 rushing touchdowns per outing to opposing tailbacks during the last month.
After being the workhorse back for the Jets in 2011 and 2012, Greene signed with the Titans prior to last year and played second fiddle to Chris Johnson. Even with Johnson having been released, Greene will still find himself part of a running back by committee approach in new head coach Ken Whisenhunt's offense. And more than likely, not a big part as the Titans drafted Bishop Sankey with the thought that he would surpass Greene as the Titans main ball carrier. Greene is a plodding running back that will rarely see the field on passing downs and carries very little upside into 2014 unless there is a rash of injuries to his fellow running backs.
