Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the WR position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
With the Panthers failing to make any meaningful additions to the receiving corps, we predict LaFell to have a career year across the board with 60 receptions for 750 yards and six touchdowns. Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton, got out of the gate slow last year throwing only six touchdowns compared to eight interceptions in the first eight games but really came on in the second half of the season throwing for 13 touchdowns and only four interceptions. We expect Newton’s continued growth to be a major factor in LaFell’s career year.
