Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
After last week's explosion, this defense has risen to #2 in average fantasy points per game in a lot of formats. San Diego certainly isn't what one would refer to as a favorable matchup but Cameron Wake, Olivier Vernon, Reshad Jones & company are bringin' it.
This defense could be very fantasy friendly in 2014 if second year defensive end Dion Jordan can get on track. Miami finished last season with over 40 sacks with Jordan contributing only two. If veteran cornerback Cortland Finnegan can regain his form then he and Brent Grimes will give the defensive front valuable time to rack up sacks. Some big plays from an underwhelming line backing corps wouldn't hurt either.
