Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Week 14 Projections
The Raiders defense scores fantasy points, but drives the offense crazy and make them play 'come from behind' way too often. We are looking for Oakland to be on the minus side in the scoring ledger this week. Thus, if you can find a more reliable alternative, do so.
2 Sacks, 1 Ints, 1 Fumbles
The Oakland Raiders are a young team on the rise, and that includes defensively. Edge rusher Khalil Mack is a legitimate contender for Defensive Player of the Year, and linebacker Malcolm Smith thrived in his first season with the Silver and Black in 2015. Mack told Jimmy Durkin of The San Jose Mercury News that while the Raiders have come a long way, there's still a ways to go. 'It's very encouraging,' Mack said of the young group. 'You've got a lot of different guys. We've just got to focus in on what we need to do in the offseason.' The Raiders took steps to replace the retired Charles Woodson at safety with first-round pick Karl Joseph, leaving the biggest order of business improving a pass rush that had trouble getting consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks in 2015. If they can do that, the Raiders have a puncher's chance at cracking the top 10 fantasy defenses this year.
