Strength of Schedule
Strength of schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The best rating is +16 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the worst rating is -16 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Fantasy Analysis
Carolina is a solid starting option at home against a Cleveland Browns offense led by struggling rookie Johnny Manziel. During the last four weeks, the Panthers allowed an average of 19.33 points. They also racked up 2.67 sacks and 1.67 takeaways per contest. Don't expect Manziel to play as poorly as he did last week, but 'Johnny Football' isn't going to light it up, either. Since Week 12, the Browns have scored 12 points per game. They also allowed 1.8 sacks per contest and committed 2.5 turnovers per outing.
2 Sacks, 2 Ints, 1 Fumbles

This is a defensive unit that could find itself on the field quite a bit in 2014 as the offense is in a bit of disarray. The Panthers led the league in sacks last season and scored four defensive touchdowns. The defensive line remains mainly intact but they have lost some secondary talent in cornerback Captain Munnerlyn and safety Mike Mitchell. Veteran additions to the secondary such as former big play Saints safety Roman Harper and Atlanta's Thomas DeCoud will need to step in and contribute.
