Strength of Schedule
Strength of Schedule is calculated from the opponents projected fantasy points allowed for the DEF position. The easiest rating is 1 which gives the player the advantage against the defense and indicates an easy opponent, the most difficult rating is 10 which gives the defense the advantage and indicates a tough opponent.
Week 4 Projections
The Rams defense creates turnovers, but has been a sieve against yardage gained and scoring two of the first three games. Keep them in mind on a weekly basis, but unless you are stuck, you should find a better defense for your lineup this week.
2 Sacks, 1 Ints, 1 Fumbles
The Rams aggressive trade up to No. 1 overall in the 2016 NFL draft garnered all the attention this spring, but it's the team's defense that will determine how much success the Rams have in their first season back in La-La land. In tackle Aaron Donald, middle linebacker Alec Ogletree and cornerback Trumaine Johnson, the Rams have young building blocks at every level of the defense -- and it showed in 2015, when the Rams finished inside the top 10 of most fantasy scoring systems. If defensive end Robert Quinn returns to form and linebacker Mark Barron can back up his breakout season of a year ago, the Rams could be better still. One of the best in both the NFL and fantasy football, in fact. If you're looking for a dependable weekly option that can be had for a reasonable asking prics in many drafts, the Rams may be just the team you're looking for.
